So I've had a week to digest the bitter pill of watching my beloved adopted country, England, get eliminated from the World Cup.

It wasn't so much that they got eliminated, it was how. That seems to be the general consensous amongst my fellow Engerland supporters and I.

Cheering for England is very much like being a Maple Leaf supporter. Everyone is passionate about the team, but they never win. The Leafs last won in '67, England in '66.

I think Canada will qualify for the World Cup again before England ever wins it.

I guess I shouldn't have tried posting an entry so early in the morning. I'm just not feeling it. Well, Allez les Bleus is what the cry will be today. Things could be worse...
